It too is taken every day, and is priced around $450 a month. Naltrexone is another med used in opioid maintenance therapy, but unlike the other medications mentioned here it's an opioid blocker and is not an opiate. There is an option to take this medication as a monthly injection, and that is called Vivitrol. As an opioid blocker, the drug prevents a person from experience high feelings from opioids, and in turn lowers the risk associated with relapse. This daily shot costs in the range of $1000 to $1200 a month.
