The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the nation. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehab programs, which are programs which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
