The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
