Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient substance abuse rehabilitation program that is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than normal out-patient rehab. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help people who need in-depth rehabilitation for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't require 24 hour intervention and treatment. For a person who has completed inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization day treatment plan in Cleves could help them transition more easily into a drug-free way of life as a viable "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the person could then phase into regular out-patient care.
When someone is in a partial hospitalization day treatment program, they typically participate in services anywhere from three to five days per week. It is similar to an in-patient program in many important ways, including the fact that individuals will get access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can address the psychological, emotional, and physical challenges they are trying to conquer. For at least four to six hrs on the days that individuals participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, the clients will receive one-on-one addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, receive any necessary medical care and address any of the mental health problems that trigger their alcohol and drug addiction.
