Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Dayton, OH.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehab in Dayton, this program will pay for certain recovery programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications administered by clinics. It also pays for professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for individuals who want supplemental coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
