Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient drug and alcohol rehab program which is less than intensive outpatient and more intensive than regular outpatient treatment. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help people who may need intensive treatment for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but do not require 24 hour intervention and care. For a person who has completed inpatient rehabilitation, a partial hospitalization day treatment program in Liberty Center could be of help to them make the transition more easily into a sober lifestyle as a viable "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the person could then phase over to regular outpatient treatment.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment program, they commonly participate in services in the range of 3-5 days a week. It is very much like an in-patient treatment program in many significant ways, including the fact that individuals will have access tomental health professionals, physicians and nurses who can deal with the psychological, emotional, and physical issues they are trying to conquer. For at least four to six hrs on the days that clients participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, the clients will receive personalized addiction therapy, attend group counseling sessions, psychotherapy sessions, get any necessary medical care and address any of the mental health problems that are triggering their drug and alcohol addiction.
