Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a kind of out-patient alcohol and drug rehab program which is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than normal outpatient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help individuals who need intense rehab for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't require twenty-four hour intervention and care. For a client who has finished inpatient rehab, a partial hospitalization day treatment plan in Russia could be of help to them transition more easily into a drug-free way of life as a viable "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the client could then transition over to regular outpatient treatment.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment center, they typically take part in services anywhere from three to five days per week. It is similar to an inpatient treatment program in many significant ways, including the fact that people will have access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can address the physical, emotional and psychological challenges they are trying to overcome. For at least 4-6 hours on the days that people participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, the clients will receive individual addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, get any needed medical care and deal with any of the mental health problems that trigger their alcohol and drug addiction.
