Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers - West Unity, OH.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require substance abuse treatment in West Unity, Medicare will pay for certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different kinds of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
