Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs - Fields, OR.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and need substance abuse rehabilitation in Fields, this program may cover certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the person's lifetime.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want supplemental coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
