Access to Recovery Voucher - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers - Portland, OR.

When someone in Portland needs drug abuse treatment but doesn't have private health insurance or the money to pay for treatment in full, the Access to Recovery Voucher is an option to consider. ATR is a federally-funded plan which provides the means for individuals to access treatment facilities and support including inpatient programs, regular outpatient, intensive outpatient, continuing care, counseling, life coaching and recovery support, vocational training, skills building, and transportation assistance. The ATR grant program allows those individuals with vouchers to purchase rehabilitation and recovery support services for substance use disorders at the provider of their choice. To qualify for ATR individuals must fulfill certain criteria, including: 1) must be 18 years or older, 2) have a history of substance abuse and addiction, 3) have a yearly income that is below 200% of the Federal poverty level, and 4) reside in the counties or jurisdictions that provide ATR.
