The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehab programs, which are programs that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
