The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
