DWI Clients - Drug and Alcohol Rehab Programs - Cost, TX.

DWI clients in rehab need specific requirements met to satisfy the conditions of their court sentencing. Rehab programs which help fulfill these requirements and terms, which are usually far more lenient than regular sentencing which would include heavy fines and jail time, are available in Cost to deliver educational services, therapy, and further assessment for clients with serious alcohol or drug issues.

Education is a primary treatment tool used at rehabs treating DWI offenders. There are various levels of alcohol education which can vary by state. Level I education typically consist of 12 hours of education related to the effects and dangers of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a first offense or someone under the age of 21 will usually be required to do. Level II classes would consist of both substance abuse education and group therapy at a program which is approved by the courts. How long a client will be required to remain in therapy depends on certain factors, which can include the number of DWI's the person has had, and the severity of the offense. Ordinarily, clients will be required to take the Level II DWI classes and therapy unless their blood-alcohol content was very low when they were arrested and there were no other significant charges when the offender was arrested.
