Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - El Paso, TX.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol recovery services in El Paso, this program will cover various rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse rehab. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional health insurance apart from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
