Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol recovery services in El Paso, this program will cover various rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain forms of medical care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
