DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Nevada, TX.

DWI clients in rehab need to complete specific requirements to fulfill the conditions of their court sentencing. Rehab facilities which help satisfy these requirements and conditions, which are usually far more lenient than regular sentencing such as large fines and jail time, are available in Nevada to provide alcohol education, counseling, and additional assessment for severe drug or alcohol problems.

Education is a primary treatment tool used at rehab programs treating DWI offenders. There are various levels of alcohol education which can differ by state. Level I education classes generally include 12 hours of group education about the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what a person with a single offense or someone under the age of 21 will usually be required to do. Level II courses would consist of both education and group therapy in a program which is approved by the courts. How long a client will be required to remain in therapy depends upon a few considerations, which can include the number of DWI's the offender has had, and the severity of the offense. Most often clients will be required to take the Level II classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol level was extremely low when they were stopped and there weren't any other serious infractions when the person was arrested.
