The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
