The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
