The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid treatment facilities, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
