Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs - Monterey, VA.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and need addiction treatment in Monterey, this program may pay for certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of care.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
