Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient substance abuse treatment program that is just below intensive outpatient and more intensive than normal out-patient rehabilitation. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also tailored to clients who need in-depth treatment for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but don't need 24 hour supervision and care. When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment center, they commonly participate in services in the range of 3-5 days per week.
