Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Programs - Rescue, VA.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and need substance abuse recovery services in Rescue, this program may cover certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for clients who want additional coverage apart from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. People who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
