The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its responsibilities is the oversight of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
