The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
