The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
