Substance abuse programs for Vets are crucial for the mental health and overall stability of Veterans of all branches of the armed forces. Because substance abuse and other mental health disorders are found at above average rates among Veterans, it is important that they get the assistance they need because of such high rates of suicide also associated with these disorders among our Vets.
