Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centers - Green Bay, WI.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse rehabilitation in Green Bay, Medicare can cover certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehab. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional coverage in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications needed for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
