Alcohol and drug abuse programs for Veterans are central for the mental health and overall stability of Vets of all branches of the armed forces. Because substance abuse and other mental health disorders are found at above average rates among Vets, it is crucial that Veterans get the assistance they need due to such high rates of suicide also associated with these disorders among our Vets.
