The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to advance the mental health of the nation. One of its duties is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
