Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Little Birch, WV.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require addiction recovery services in Little Birch, this program can pay for certain treatment programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and medications dispensed by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want additional coverage apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
